Nutrisco et extinguo

Medieval bestiaries insisted the salamander could live inside flame. They were wrong about the animal and right about the idea: the thing worth owning is the thing that survives being used.

So we build one way. Heavy cloth, flat seams, bar tacks where you'd tear it. Then we mend it for free — no receipt, no warranty card, no argument.

A repaired garment is not a damaged one. It's one that made it.
